THE GUARDIANS OF NATURE
The project was conceived for a natural context such as the dunes facing the sea. The house is raised so as not to interfere with the phenomenon of the formation of the dunes. It is accessed by a staircase and has a portico, an entrance hall, a kitchen, a living room and a belvedere terrace, while on the upper floor there is a bedroom with a bathroom and a small study/work area. The house is indipendent from the electricity grid by means of the photovoltaic panels on the roof, while the rainwater collection system allows it to be reuse for toilets and more. The fireplace working with wood collected directly on the beach heats the house in winter, while the summer sea breeze avoids the installation of an air conditioning system. The greenhouse serves as a buffer zone for the remaining intermediate seasons. Two small openings on the west wall provide a nest for local birds.
