ALESSANDRO FERRO
I was born in Chioggia and I’ve studied at the University of Architecture IUAV in Venice, specializing in sustainability. My projects address current issues and problems such as the limitations of available physical, environmental and technological resources, as well as issues related to energy, acoustics and lighting technology.
A building built through systems and principles of sustainability offers, compared to a traditional building, greater energy savings, high internal comfort and a unique and priceless quality of living.
This can be achieved by considering the orography of the lot with respect to the prevailing winds and solar radiation, with the collection of rainwater and its reuse, with the self-production of electricity through photovoltaic panels, with the production of sanitary water through solar thermal, but also with structures made “dry” with metal profiles and panels. My design activity reflects the interest in modern life but also the desire to connect the clients to the beauty of an environment with prevalence for natural light through large windows.
The modern design of the buildings in Italian style represents the contemporary know-how of building.
